Biography :
Dana Harb, MD is a graduate of the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where she also completed her training during residency at the department of Dermatology.. During her PGY4, she received training in cosmetic dermatology under Dr Suzan Obagi at UPMC, Pittsburgh, right before starting her practice at Obagi Medispa in Lebanon. In 2017, she joined the Bikhaazi Medical Group and helped set up a cosmetic center there. She has regularly attended several international conferences and local hands-on training in injectables and laser machines with renowned dermatologists. Over the course of her career, she has encountered complicated cases which required both in-depth understanding of the clinical background of the disease and the application of advanced cosmetic procedures. Her research interests include psoriasis, histiocytosis, inflammatory disorders, and skin cancers.
Patient education is an integral part of her management plan. Accordingly, she addresses her patients with emotional intelligence and dedicate ample time to explain their medical condition, differential diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Moreover, Dr Dana Harb makes sure to develop individualized treatment regimens for each patient and promptly follow up with colleagues regarding cases requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Working in a center/hospital with other physicians warranted collaborations constantly which in turn provided optimal patient management and care.
